Hi! PARIS is pleased to announce the exceptionnal lecture of Dr. John Ioannidis, an event co-organized with École polytechnique.

On November 10th 12:30pm-13:30pm, we will have the great honour to host at the École polytechnique a conference by Dr. John Ioannidis, Stanford University School of Medicine, one of the 10 most cited scientists in the world. Please find below a detailed description of the conference.

John Ioannidis, an inspiring personnality
John Ioannidis is professor of epidemiology and population health at Stanford University School of Medicine. Standing among the 10 most cited scientists in the world, his work focuses on the reproducibility of scientific studies with a famous article he published in 2005 “Why Most Published Research Findings Are False”, which opened the debate on this topic. His lecture will navigate the landscape of research practice improvements across diverse disciplines in the current landscape (with special circumstances, e.g. the recent COVID-19 pandemic).
