About the Hi!ckathon

4th Edition: AI & Supply Chain

The Hi!ckathon is a competitive AI and Data Science challenge organized by Hi! PARIS, the Center dedicated to data science and AI. The center was created by HEC Paris and Institut Polytechnique de Paris in September 2020 with Inria joining in 2021.

It is open to students from Institut Polytechnique de Paris, HEC Paris and other universities – feel free to share around you! It will give you the possibility to work on an AI problem that is complex and has high business and societal stakes.

Date & Location

This 4th edition will take place in several stages:

  • First, a preparation phase, starting on November 14. Three intermediate-level courses will be given (Feature Engineering on Nov. 14, Machine Learning on Nov. 27 and Deep Learning on Nov. 29). In addition, two round tables will be held on November 16 and 21, with our corporate donors, L’Oréal, Capgemini, TotalEnergies, KERING, Rexel, VINCI and Schneider Electric. These events will take place after class, from 6 pm to 8 pm. More info shortly.

Look back to the previous edition

In the previous edition, 340 students from more than 10 universities joined the Hi!ckathon and its preparation weeks, thus underlining the popularity of the event. After two online editions of the data challenge, the 2023 version was exclusively on-site, at ENSTA Paris and brought together more than 130 students for an entire week-end devoted to the final sprint.

The Hi!ckathon is the perfect opportunity for students to sharpen their skills as well as gain insights on the business opportunities of such technologies and their place in society. This multidisciplinary approach is Hi! PARIS’ DNA!
