Hi! PARIS External Chairs – Position Profile Proposal
Apply for the External Chairs (Recruitment) – 2025
As part of our Hi! PARIS Cluster 2030 project, we are launching our External Chair Program for the year 2025.
The following form is designed to collect position profile proposals from partner institutions. Each entity may submit 1 to 3 position profiles. Entities (ONRs) recruiting for non-specific positions and seeking only hosting projects (or “hiring packages”) should submit broad profiles aligned with the strategic focus areas, along with an estimate of the number of hiring packages anticipated.
Position profiles must be submitted via the online platform no later than March 3, 2025, on the Hi! PARIS website, along with the completed position description form (see position description template).
The 7 strategic priorities are as follows:
- Mathematical Foundations of AI
- Foundation Models and Generative AI
- Trustworthy and Sustainable AI
- AI for Sciences and Engineering
- AI in Cyber-Physical Systems and Robotics
- AI for Society
- AI for the Economy

The timeline for 2025 is as follows:
- December 10, 2024: Call for position profiles sent to partner entities
- March 3, 2025: Deadline for submission of position profiles by entities
- March 11, 2025: Selection of approved position profiles by entities
- June 2025: Candidate selection by entities
- September 2025: Start of appointments
